You may have even asked someone but later found yourself having a million more questions.

Styling is an industry that is so quiet, not because people don't want to help or give advice but because when your in the clutch, prepping a music video, pulling for your next red carpet event, researching showrooms and upcoming designers, and personal shopping for a clients travel, along with maintaining a healthy personal life, all at once, it's a lot.

So... I'm sure you can imagine trying to advise on all the information there is Step-by-Step can be a little overwhelming, right?

The good news is, all you need is the right tools and direction. Once you have this you'll be on your way to creating, branding, and building your career as a stylist.

You will be able to understand the industry, know the right people, find work, build your brand, and mentally prepare yourself to succeed as an entrepreneur and in life.

In a moment I'll explain, but 1st I want to tell you who I am and why I want to help you.

My name is Brianna Wise and I am a fashion stylist based in Los Angeles, CA.

My background wasn't in fashion. I was actually an established basketball athlete which I thought would be my career until I found out there was a fashion department at Marymount University, the school I attended and graduated from.

My major was Business Management, with a focus in Fashion Merchandising. I loved fashion and always had friends and family who'd ask for advice on their outfit(s).

Helping people has always been my thing so combining that with fashion quickly sparked my interest.

But, I found that none of the courses had anything to do with Becoming A Stylist and making a career out of it.

So... I ended up googling, reading books, interning, watching tutorials, assisting, working side jobs, starting small businesses, two online clothing boutiques, launching a fashion website affiliate marketing to sell clothing from stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, even moved to NY and then LA TWICE! Often juggling projects at the same time, just to get my big break.

OMG it was A LOT!!

But then ... One day my friend who was in the NBA contacted me to personal shop for him. Although I hesitated at 1st I took the offer. I was HYPE!

My 1st real client!

However, once the job ended I was stuck trying to figure where to find more clients.

I began reading and writing to get my zen and also worked on re-developing my brand as a stylist.

Throughout all my research, trial and errors, and experiences, I realized the

The Importance of Personal Development.

A stylist is an entrepreneur. Each and every successful entrepreneur, not just financially but also within their personal lives, practices daily stillness which means they take a few moments each day to center themselves. This could be through meditating, writing, visualizing the end goal, or reading books on growth, entrepreneurship, love, and business.

Your mind is the most powerful tool you have. What you think about you attract into your life. When you're constantly hustling, checking social media, and just trying to figure out life, it's easy to lose track of your clarity and direction in life.

You must be clear in order to receive all the greatness that is excitedly waiting to come into your life.

Maintaining Genuine Relationships.

Relationships are so important and I have always made sure to keep genuine relationships with everyone who I have helped, and also who has helped me on my journey to Becoming A Stylist.

Energy is Everything! People look to you to make them look good and sometimes feel good. You will always be remembered for how you make someone feel and the best jobs of my career has come from friends and referrals based on the energy I bring into the room.

Consistency

Everything you need to Becoming A Stylist is within yourself. Once you begin believing this consistently, working on your business consistently using proven successful tools, and take 2-3 steps towards your goal daily, things will all come into fruition.

When you are not consistent you confuse the universe into thinking you are unsure of what it is you really truly want. This includes your mental which is why you must never doubt yourself. No matter how hard you "think" it gets, remove that thought and replace it with a positive thought.

You must look the part! This includes IG, Facebook, events, and what you wear when you show up to the job.

When I consistently practiced personal development and began building my personal brand the stars aligned!

I began booking my dream jobs and working with major brands including Under Armor, Sony, Aveeno, Columbia Records, and BET, runway shows including NYFW, music videos, short films, editorial publications, and clothing brands producing look-books and creative directing content.
